Sucks that FB gets the blame for this stuff, well at least in the media. This will only put them under more pressure -> bigger/stricter changes will be implemented when it comes to advertising.

yes i saw that on ITV this morning, he was on good morning show.
crazy lander affiliates running these days.I still see on fb feed. i dont know how they get approved. fb cant be that stupid

Can't blame him but I have no idea how Facebook can completely avoid this happening. It's strange that so many people try to hold FB to a higher standard than the newspapers they read everyday. Somehow the fact that you, as a reader, pay for that subscription makes it OK for papers to write extremely clickbait-ey and misleading stories...

Partially serious - most of the issues would be solved if people would learn about all these tricks and wouldn't fall for it. The reason marketers (affiliates or not) get so aggressive and misleading is because it works...
