Banner clicks not coming thru Voluum? (6)

Hey daydreamer,
Do you have pop traffic mixed in? Can you track banner impressions with Voluum on Exo? Back when I was running banners, it was on Go2Mobi and you couldn't track impressions and clicks on Voluum. That meant that every click on the banner was a visit in Voluum.

The standard setup with exo, is to use a Voluum campaing url as the destination url for the banners ... so every visit that Voluum records, is actually a click on the banner. Exo shows less clicks in their stats than voluum will, it's the way they have it setup ... bot clicks, crawlers ... they don't count some clicks, but voluum will record all of them.
"Clicks" in voluum are clicks on the CTAs on a landing page, so I guess the first campaign is a directlinked one, while the second screen shows stats of a campaign that uses landig pages, am I right?
In case of directlinked campaigns, voluum shows 0 clicks, since no clicks on a LP CTA are possible.

Hi Matuloo,
I guess the first one would be considered direct linked. That offer is from Adcombo and their offer link includes a Prelander and also a Landing page (two different pages as i got to preview how they look like). Would it show up 0 clicks because I am not using a Lander that I have saved in
Voluum, unlike the 2nd screenshot?
Thanks for the clarification..this entire time I thought Voluum clicks meant banner clicks but they are actually clicks on the CTA of my lander. So this means they gone thru the lander, and then to the offer page but didn't sign up otherwise it would be a conversion? if so, kind of depressing that I get all these clicks but hardly any convert

I think you still don't understand this fully, so let me explain better :
All traffic that you send to a voluum campaing url is counted as a VISIT, in case that this campaign is using a LP that is setup in voluum under "Landing Pages" all clicks on the CTA on this LP will be counted as a CLICK.
Whatever happens at the prelanders or landing urls at the offer itself, is not counted by voluum anymore. So even though you are using a prelander from Adcombo, which is hosted by THEM, it's equivalent to a directlink campaign... because the visit was sent to the offer directly, without using a voluum configured LP.

Yup, only users who finish the signup process are counted as conversions ... the action required is different from one offer to the next. In case of adcombo, most of their offers convert on a form submit, which is a hold, then once their call center is able to confirm the order, you will get a valid conversion.

What happens when I change the view in voluum from "Landers" to the Banner Variable for TJ, "BLPName"? Would the visits and clicks mean the same as it does with LP? or would the clicks mean the traffic that actually clicks on the banner?

I noticed I received 1 conversion on Adcombo dashboard but that conversion doesn't showing up in Voluum. is that normal or is my setup wrong?
Thanks!

Visits will still be visits and clicks will be clicks. This is just a different way of analyzing the data... you can drill down pretty deep in
Voluum and check all kinds of stats.

There will be some problem with your setup, particulary the postback setup ... talk with their support about this.
