I'm kinda stuck on making a choice what to do next. (6)

I'm kinda stuck on making a choice what to do next.

Feels weird to ask this as on my other forum I'm usually the one giving advice but I'm kinda doubting what to do.

I originally wanted to start with Native ads but after reading some threads it has become obvious that you need at least 3-5k to make a good start which I currently don't possess.

At the current time I got about 1K to invest in starting something and that is tools, domains, software etc taking care off.

So any advice?

Read a lot about pops and I see that the newbie guide also involves pops but really, isn't 2018 a little too late to make some good money with that if you just starting out?

I'm earning money within IM through a couple services but I want to step it up and invest in some other ventures to make a bit more.

Feedback is appreciated.

Cheers.

Hello!

Actually, 1k for Native is too little for you to start. I agree, you need at least $3k and about $5k for GEOs like US/NZ/UK/CA...

What I would really recommend - POP and in-App traffic. You should try Amy's guide (https://stmforum.com/forum/forumdisp...-s-First-Steps), and I'm sure 1k is enough for this guide. So actually nothing changed, all information is actual at the moment. I would also recommend to look at AirPush and banner/push traffic from this source. You don't need a bit budget for your tests.

Thank you for your reply.

As mentioned I indeed read 1k is too little to start natives so that's why I want to go a different direction to build that stack even though natives sure looks like fun.

I've read vortex/Amy's guide a little bit but I'm having doubts about pops for a couple reasons. Every year users get smarter and as pops have been going on for a decade I'm thinking most people know that most of it is BS not to mention annoying.

I'm sure people that have been doing pops for a while still making good money but is it really worth the effort as a newbie to start in pops in 2018? Sure I know getting data, split-testing costs money but naturally I want to keep losses at a minimum

I would also recommend to look at AirPush and banner/push traffic
Not exactly know what this is though.

But when it comes to banners, this still a thing for beginners?

I'm turning 38 next Wednesday and I'm feeling I'm too late with almost everything. I was there with the birth of the internet I could have been a millionaire by now but I fucked up wasting half of my life on partying, drugs and alcohol which seemed fun at the time but damn in hindsight ugh!

So don't waste any more time

POPs wont make you rich, most likely. Many people are making good numbers there, but they already know all the tricks that you don't. The main reason why we always recommend POPs to beginners is that it's the cheapest type of traffic so the possible loses are the lowest, while newbies learn the basics. Then they usually move to other types of traffic, to find their financial success. So in case you need to learn the basics, start with POPs and who knows, you might see your first profits there ...

And once you grow your bankroll, you can enter the higher leagues of native, facebook, adult banners ... the sky is the limit. You just need to start somewhere.

38 is NOT too late. It's NEVER too late to do anything. You just need to throw that kind of sentiment out the window.

Some of the world's richest people have failed multiple times before succeeding - some a lot older than you by the time they finally did.

As others have said: It IS true that pop is not what it used to be in terms of profits potential, but it IS still the easiest AND cheapest way to break into paid traffic. And if you're wanting to make xx-xxx/day in profits, and are willing to work hard, it's not difficult.

But I'll be brutally honest with you: Trying to turn 1k into a million dollars using paid traffic would be difficult. Nothing is impossible. But it would be difficult.

It may be better to spend that 1k on growing your "couple of other services" instead of starting something new. Because really, 1k in this business isn't much at all.

If I were you, I would either make extra income using other methods (like freelancing) to grow the budget you can use to "crack" paid traffic, or explore free/cheap ways of making money online - something other than running paid traffic campaigns to CPA offers.

Here's something I came across recently that has a lot of good ideas in it:

Either way you choose, please feel free to bounce ideas around. I'll do my best to tell you what I know.

Hey hey!

In my opinion, it's better to start later than never! Moreover, life is too big to say when and what was right!

If you are willing to invest 1k without dramatical impact on your life than just go for it! But be realistic, if financially it's not possible to dive into native, there is no biggie! Luckily affiliate marketing offers a lot of different options. As it was mentioned, pop could be a good way to start and there is a plenty of useful infromation aboit it in STM! For sure you will get support here in your follow along!
