Noobie question: Running campaigns from zero to launch question. (10)

Noobie question: Running campaigns from zero to launch question.

So I've been learning affiliate marketing for some time now and I'm ready to start launching campaigns. There were a ton of confusions in the beginning but it's starting to clear up now. But I want to make sure everything from scratch is launched correctly. Especially for my first campaign on mobile pop.

Tools that I have:
-Advidi network
-3 mobile offers from AM. Targeting Turkey, Russia, and Greece.
-Adplexity spy tool
-Traffic sources (zeropark, propellerads, etc.)
-Voluum tracker
-VPS

So here's where I'm confused:

So now that I have Adplexity, I can finally rip proven landing pages for my offers (3 different styles in this case) and my question is, Am I suppose to translate, clean out the code, and then launch the offers on Voluum? Or do I just upload the landing page onto my hosting without editing it and launch the campaign with the offers?

I don't mean to overthink this part but I just want to get it right the first time.

Thanks.

You download the landers and then you open them with an editor to clean them from malicious code/JS.
Then you need to change the tracking links to your links.
When everything is cleaned up you upload the landers to your server and add them to Voluum to use them.
If you want to use them in other languages then of course you need to translate them.

To add to what twinaxe already posted ... go to your Voluum setup page and click on the "tracking URL's" tab ... you will see the CLICK url there, copy it and use it to link all CTA buttons or links on your landing page.

Don't forget to set the LPs up in Voluum too ... click the "landers" button, then "new lander" ... enter the real url of the LP there, so the domain and full path to where you hosted the LP.

Setting this up for the first time is kinda confusing, but once you do it once, it will all be clear

Gotcha. Now I'm researching heavily on the types of landing pages I want to rip. For example, my AM gave me an offer for an AVG anti-virus targeting Turkish speakers. I'm having analysis paralysis right now. I'm not exactly sure on which landing pages to rip and work on. I read on the tutorial that we want to avoid brand advertisers as much as possible and that's if they have no affiliate network when researching. I'm just not 100% sure on which landing pages to rip. It is confusing in the beginning. But definitely going through some analysis paralysis. Any tips?

Do not over-think this step Do you have a spytool? Simply rip some LPs that are running for some time already ... chances are, they are making money for someone, otherwise they wouldn't be in rotation for so long. Now to be absolutely honest, this approach isn't 100% bullet proof, because you never know who you are ripping from ... sometimes even the bad LPs are rotating for a long time, simply because affiliates keep on ripping them from each other. But it's certainly a better start than shooting blind.

Whatever you rip, you still need to test it to see if it works or not, so you just have to start somewhere ... it's not possible to just look at an LP and know it's gonna rock ... with some experience, you will learn it to some extent, but still just to some level of success. So don't worry about it too much, just rip something and test.

Yup. I got Adplexity mobile. The reason why I feel stuck with this overthinking is that I'm going back and forth on STM forums, the Adplexity tutorial, Ngo's blogs, etc. Some things aren't too cleared leaving me with questions which yeah I'm aware that I'm just going through ton of information overload right now haha.

I know how you feel, but the only thing you can do now is to LAUNCH A CAMPAIGN ... no matter how hard it fails, you need to see it all in action. This will help you understand many parts of the process. The truth is, you will fail with your first campaigns, no matter how hard you analyze all parts of the puzzle, so why wait ... ?

Just make sure you set low budgets, so you don't lose to much.

Will do, What's a recommended budget for testing campaigns at the very least?

For the very first one, just select the minimum that the source allows ... going higher than let's say 20 bucks is pointless. Chances are that you might have a problem somewhere in the flow/setup, so keep the loses low.

Hi Timothy! Have you come across the 40-day pop tutorial? Everything is explained in greater detail in there.

And if you have questions, keep asking!
