Cartoon banners, hows the lead quality?

So I'm running an Adult Dating campaign right now and tested some cartoon banners and they seem to be doing decent.

The spot that I am on is a high volume / high quality site, but Im concerned that despite this the lead quality Im generating might not be good?

Typically I use pictures of older women which typically attracts older men which is supposed to be good for lead quality, however with a cartoon banner obviously the age thing doesn't come into play. Also my lander uses a cartoon image lol so it's pretty much cartoons all the way to the offer.

For those who have run these types of banners, is the lead quality at least decent?

I've run these, there are some animations that are being recycled over and over again Some of those banners are around since 2013 or so

Can't really say they would be damaging to quality, but they didn't produce amazing results either. Eventually, I started doing better with images of real females ... but I do throw a cartoon banner in the mix from time to time.

I'd say these can work every now and then, when people forget about them a bit, then they can pull solid CTRs and even CVRs for a while ... in terms of quality, they are pretty neutral.

I have seen some cartoon creatives that got decent enough quality so that advertisers went along with them and didnt stop the affiliate.

It was a while ago so cant remember too much details but as far as I remember they were funny/hardcore and also some cartoon gifs.
