Here's my blocklist for Facebook to ease your moderation

Thought I'd share my blocklist for Facebook with anyone interested. It contains a shit-ton of porn-related words and sentences, along with words like "spam, scam, cheat" and their "longer" versions (scammer, scamming, scams, etc.)

The majority of the list is English words and sentences, but it also contains a few Danish words as well, as I advertise a lot in DK. It's a comma-separated txt file, ready to copy/paste into Facebook.

If you have your own blocklist for Facebook, feel free to post it in this thread. Combining our lists will make for better-performing ads for all of us

No, it should work the other way around. Having a positive comments section will increase your ad CTR, and thus your bottomline. Besides, people have a TOTAL herd mentality. In my experience, if the first comment on a particular ad is, for example, "yes please", then 80% of the following comments will likely be exactly that or something to that effect.

So keeping your comment section positive towards the product will only help you.

Yeah, in the page moderation box, they apply to both and also comments under uploaded pics are filtered, basically on everything a page does

There's no such thing as "up-to-date" when it comes to stop words.

It's just a list of words that, when they appear in comments, would automatically result in the comment being hidden.

You can start with these lists, then add to them as you see more unacceptable/sensitive/undesired words in the comments you receive.
