Hello,
I'm just trying to make campaign for Facebook app install offer. There is offer cupid and offer's looking only for male's 25+. My question is how could I target only males?
Should I target websites which got most male visitors or just target anything?
Thanks
type in cupid.com in google.com/adplanner and bid on the related urls,
No way you can know that in PPV.
Just use quantcast / adplanner to get sites that have the highest % of that demographic.
Thanks, you both just cleared up my mind
hippo - caution on ppv with bidding for fb apps
once you send a batch of leads check with your AM to make sure the advertiser is happy with the quality. I did about 600 leads last week to cupid 18+ and was asked to pause due to lead quality.
It wasnt the age of the leads - it was the fact that the %female that signed up was way too high.
So like bbrock32 says - in ad planner - rather then using the site targetting option, do the following:
Search By Audience
Demographics > Male, 25+
Ranking Method > Best or Composite
Inventory > Make sure "Accepts Advertising" is NOT ticket
Then depending on whether you want to be more targeted, select under interests the Dating & Personals category, or whatever else is relevant to your angle.
I normally go for sites with Comp Index > 1000 but this might not give you enough targets to test.
This is was the screen look like after doing the above

@tijn Thanks for that detailed post. I'm sure it will help me in building targets.
