My 10 year old facebook account got restored - a miracle.
I set up a new campiegn.
Type of offer: skin care
Country: Germany
Target: female 35-55
Interests: skin care
Landing page: None, I decided to direct link to the offer for now, in order not to risk the account ban again.
So far i got only 25 clicks, with almost $1 for click. Obviously no conversions. I lowered the bid to 30 cents a click, hopeing to get some traffic.
Last time i advertised on facebook for 8-10 years ago, i don't even remember for surew. I advertised dating sites. after that i was doing adult dating from other traffic sources. So any help with facebook is greatly appreciated.
Are you running trials or SS?
As for direct linking, not only will this drastically lower your CVR, but it unfortunately doesn't in any way guarantee you won't get banned. Skin cream will always draw negative engagement, especially if you're running aggressive.
Some ideas:
Instead of trying to bid on clicks, just run auto bid and use auto placements or mobile only, cloak, test some landers, and use the pixel if you're not already.
CPCs: $1 is really high but I was getting similar on an account running DE diet SS last week, was still profitable. But obviously it's insanely high so you want to test your way to lower CPCs.
Budget: You say you spent $25, that's not even close to enough (even with landers) to get workable data. If you don't have at least 1-2k in traffic budget to test on different angles/ landers you're going to have trouble, I'd suggest maybe a lower payout offer for now if budget is a concern.
Translations: If you're not a native DE speaker then try Transey.com - run by iAmAttila and cheaper than OHT. I use them and really like the service.
Good luck!
The problem can be with some of following:
1) your creatives - are they attractive enough?
2) is your product good enough? is it popular? does it have bad reviews in Internet?
3) try to expand woman interests - do it depending on the price of product. If it's expensive choose - travelling, courses, fitness and so on.
If price is not high, then try to choose - cooking, reading, home, etc.
4) maybe you can try 'pay per lead' instead of pay per click?
5) I agree that your price per click is pretty high. What if I say to choose auto bid as an advice?
6) you run this offer directly, correct? check does domain work, maybe antivirus blocks it?
Basically when you have no landing page whatsoever, you have no means to persuade people to buy your offer. People click, 'shop around' and leave, and you're left with nothing. With nutra offers good landing page is key imo.
If you want to drive cpc lower, you'll need pictures with higher ctr, but usually pics that are clicked more often tend to attract more generic audience. To convert this audience you need strong landing. To convert people with just offer page you need to catch them at the precise moment when they are looking to solve the problem and are ready to buy. The only way I see with just an offer is to target much more specifically and after you get some result try to create look-alike audience and retarget interested prospects so they see your offer day after day. But for that you need higher budget, as David said - closer to 1-2k.
Otherwise it's better to start with low payout offer or try different traffic source that let you run with landings).
Good luck anyway!
