How many ad accounts can a credit card assigned to? (9)

How many ad accounts can a credit card assigned to?

We just got a soft ban because of 'unusual activity' of our payment method, we have been using this only one credit card for 10+ ad accounts.

Is it simply that we link to many accounts to one single CC?

If yes, what options do we have for getting many CCs that can be used for FB ad accounts?

Thanks!

Adding the same card to multiple accounts should not be an issue. We've used the same card on over 10 accounts without an issue. Recently we got an error saying the same card cannot be added to any more accounts, but no bans, the card works fine still.

That is nice to know! But did any one of the 10+ accounts get banned? We got many of them banned, could it be the cause?

^ I don't think so, cc in multiple accounts within a business manager seems to be working fine

Had multiple accounts using that card banned and it never seemed to trigger a blanket ban.

it might be a good idea to keep one card attached to no more than 2-3 accounts. If you have many spare cards, that is. Otherwise attach one card for every 10 accounts, but try to stay as close to whitehat as possible.

you won't get your card disabled when accounts go into policy violations.

But when you get Unusual activity on one account, you will get Unusual activity on all other accounts where the card is attached. The reason is FB rates your cc as fraud.

^ This is simply NOT true. You can attach one cc in 10 ad accounts in a business manager and deactivated ones have zero associations with any other ad accounts in that business manager the cc is attached on. Social feedback drives everything, not credit cards
