Offer Link does not match offer?

Hey everyone,
I have come across a problem where I noticed that every offer I found on Mobidea does not match the link. I am currently trying to promote the offer: 16056 - Games - IN - Airtel - Game Stage.

When I tested the offer link myself, redirects me to an app that has nothing to do with games or a google chrome extension.
My question is: Does the offer link only send people to the right offer in that specific GEO? or should it work from anywhere?

This is a common setup, the offer is only visible to users who match the desired targeting ... could be as general as GEO only, or as granular as requiring certain carrier or device type ... the users that don't match it, are redirected to a "fallback" offer.

I have an article about this on my blog, if you want to understand it better : http://www.matuloo.com/damn-fallback...es-fight-them/

Just read through your article matuloo, very helpful!

To add a reference point of my own, I recently had some pop traffic switched off while running a smart link (apparently some malware promotion snuck in!).

So it definitely seems that (at least some) affiliate networks have no qualms running aggressive stuff when it's not their traffic.

Indeed, I'm not a fan of this fallback setups at all ... I ask for it to be disabled, wherever possible. It got me into trouble several times as well.
