For guys using Spydrs uploader (RE: FB automation warning)

So there's been about 3 times where I've been getting the warning that locks me out of my ads account, stating they suspect automation when creating ads.

Have you guys been using custom intervals to offset this? Usually I submit with the 5s interval. By clicking "create a similar ad" I can make new ones around 20s manually (just duping ads) so I'm wondering if they are picking up the ad names or something else.

I've never got that warning. I always use either 15, or some custom that's even higher.

I'm been using 5s but always keep it under 150 ads per day. I'll be doing 15s+ from now on though.

Yea, I always do it at 15s. I haven't had any issues at 15s with doing a few hundred ads per day. I did over 500 ads/day at 10s and got caught before.

Just play it safe. It's automated. Put it in the background and complete a separate task. Come back to it in a few minutes.

i'm using a different tool which I think has 5s interval and submitted 900+ ads today and knock on wood no issues..

Fantastic, good to know you guys havent had issues on higher intervals.

has he done an update to the tool at all?

I submit at 10s and no problems.

@HeavyT: He sent me out a beta version a week or two ago. It includes things like Broad Category targeting and the ability to set a proxy etc. Works fine for me too. I'm sure if you don't have it and you want it, he won't mind if you hit him up for it!

Why use this tool at all? Yes I get the fact that the API tools cost a bit more(but they also can do a hella lot more than this tool can)....but this tool seems like such a unnecessary risk...I mean its well within there terms to juts ban you just for using it.

And the tool itself is so easy to detect.....

All I am saying is if I was FB and I wanted affs off my platform....thats the first thing I would look for....

Its just a unnecessary risk.....

Hey Polar,

Could you direct me to your favorite API tools? It was my understanding that they started at around $500/mo. Am I wrong?

A) Less mistakes than doing it manually.

B) Can start multiple instances (from different computers, ip, and account!) and upload in parallel.

Anyway, that's why I use it.

I have been using the XY7 AdOptimizer as much as possible. It's got a lot of promise.

Ya I know why you use it...I use a API tool for the same reason.....

what its was more directed at is that using a unapproved tool like that is like handing them a reason to ban you day one cuz its so easily detectable.....

Hi, can you redirect me to an api style fb loader?

12-04-2011 03:43 PM #15 stackman (Administrator)

Usually FB sends out that msg when you've uploaded too many ads in 1 day, (prob around 400+ is a low end threshold), rather then uploading ads "too fast"

I've been using my own custom FB uploaded for years. It's like the old fbadmanger but on roids. Never have a problem with it and never get warned by FB.

I've been debating whether or not to release to the public.

I also tested socialadtools.com last year through ppv coach. That tool charges recurring %s every month and is complicated as hell to do pixel tracking with. Plus limits number of ad and pic variations u can upload at once. Lame.

I love my custom one though. I also have my programmer doing beta now on a fboptimizer that utilizes p202 to get tracking data and auto cutt off ads if they don't achieve certain ctrs and cvrs/epc. It's freakin amazing so far

^ FBOptimizer sounds sick, any plan on releasing a paid version for STM members.

12-05-2011 12:49 AM #18 krueger (Member)

That would be sick, I'm already envisioning myself submitting those ads and then relaxing at the pool while the software separates the wheat from the chaff...

Pancakes/Krueger - I might do that in due time. It's a true game changer ... but, if i'm gonna release it I wanna make sure it works properly & consistently. I'll keep the forum updated on how things go with it =)
