Guys, does the word "network" frighten you away as a publisher/media buyer when it's first time introduced to you?
Would you react better and trust more if you meet a rep from "marketing agency"/"affiliate platform"/"user acquisition solutions"/whatever/ and you know that you actually deal with an affiliate network?
On condition that you hear of the network for the first time and don't know anything about it.
Share your opinions, please!
Affiliate network is the standard industry term in my view, and explains most clearly what I get from said company.
Something like "marketing agency" doesn't make me think of affiliate marketing. I think that term is better suited for the product owner side of things. Media buyers/affiliates should be most familiar and comfortable with the term "affiliate network".
Thank you for the opinion. We've met several times kind of negative reactions to the word "network". So all the comments are important to us!
So yeah, if you approach some affiliate and tell them you are from an affiliate network, they might not jump of joy as you might be considered yet another network who tries to get their traffic
I see you use the word "Network" as a part of your brand name and also use the .network TLD.
Maybe that's the reason? As people are not used to this TLD? (I'm just thinking out loud)
I would somehow try to emphasise that you are an "affiliate network", not just a "network".
The bad reactions could be also from people who may associate the word network with MLM.
Just my 2 cents.
Thank you, your 2 cents are very useful for us!
