Do You Use Traffic Source Conversion Pixels?
I'm working with a new traffic source and my rep suggests that I use the conversion pixel. They say it's so they can help me optimize and build my campaigns. Right now my campaigns are really simple but as they grow, the traffic source has a lot of possibilities to get creative with my approach and strategies.
But I'm worried about them ripping my campaigns. Not necessarily the rep who seems like a good person, but anyone over there can just log in and see what's working for me.
They have been really helpful and spending lots of time helping me get going. I want to trust them and I've placed the pixel on one campaign.
Do you think I'm being ridiculous? Do you use traffic source conversion pixels?

What about payments? Do you trust them to send you the earnings you will (hopefully) make?
You get my point?

This is something different.
I don't pass conversion data to networks either, it's not like I'm super suspicious and see conspiracy left and right, I just like to keep as much of my data private as possible. AM world is full of spytools, people who rip everything left and right ... I don't see a reason why some affiliate manager wouldn't be tempted to rip a working funnel.
On the other hand, it's pointless to worry about this in the "newbie" phase, nobody will rip negative campaigns.
