Can I still use CPVlab? (3)

Can I still use CPVlab?

I've been out of the game for a while and I see everyone is using Voluum.
But I have a working cloud server with CPVlab v 2.16 running on it. Is there any reason why I can't just start using that instead of paying for a $99 subscription to Voluum? I'm thinking about doing some pops and mobile stuff.
Once I get some revenue coming in I could upgrade or move to Voluum.
Can anyone help me see the pros and cons of continuing to use CPVlab for a while?

If you need mobile carrier analysis, then cpvlab is out. For the basic LP and offer rotation, it will still do the job. Not sure about your server, if it's fast enough and could handle the possible load, you should be able to start there.

For pops, Voluum can get rather expensive, since they bill per event. In this case, self hosted tracker such as cpvlab, can be a better option ... unless you go to very high numbers, where load balancing can cause trouble. For the future, if you plan to continue using a selfhosted tracker, I'd look at FunnelFlux.

I would say it's a bit outdated for todays AM needs, but if you don't run much mobile/carrier traffic you should still get away with it.

I've seen it popping up here and there on spy tools.

However I would look into modern trackers such as Voluum, FunnelFlux, Adsbridge or TriveTracker.
