Man I'm getting super cheap targeted gaming clicks, super high CTR, but I've tested 3 different offers and no conversions...what's the conspiracy? Can anyone offer some advice?
maybe there is no real connection between your crative and the offer LP --> Users just click out of curiosity..therefore i would tweak the banners a little bit..you have to find a balance between ctr and cvr..your bidding cpm i guess?
Yeah CPM, and getting sick CTR with penny clicks, but the banners are right on for the game...so not sure what's going on...
mhh thats really weird..normally their traffic quality is pretty good..you should at least have a couple conversions...and are you split testing the different categories? You can append variables ${cc} and ${category} in your target url.
${cc} will give you the country code and ${category} is game category. also test the offer on different networks but i guess you already did that
Mochi was my secret sauce back in 2010. Was spending $5k - $7.5k daily @ 150% ROI. But then December came around, their brand advertisers drained up all the inventory. Since then, I've never been able to get a piece of their US inventory without bidding $5 CPM.
Their INTL traffic though converts like shit. I see 2-3 EPC on many INTL countries.
I've heard mix responses from Mochi, I know some people can't get it to work but I hear really plain flash games are the ones that work, and also not targeting in the USA
I have also heard and seen screenshots of a campaign in Norway which spent $27 and netted $1400 back, so yeah try out of the box stuff
Fresh eyes are always $$
i only ever tested a few hundred dollars on international traffic to wizard101 and it converted like shit. might be time to run some more test campaigns.
Any url that i can see mochiads in action to get ideas ?
Thanks
Great find canopus
. Guys just a Tip for running your creatives on Mochi. Just use static Banners without any animation as it tends to bring higher CTR. The game window keeps changing and your Banner stays still. So, that makes your Banner stand out and people click.
Allowed to promote non-gaming stuff on Mochi?
yeah you can promote non gaming I believe, but they do have a lot of restrictions...They don't like any free offers etc...
