An AM recommended us a weight loss offer that is supposed to be pure white hat, since we don't like the idea of black hat at this stage.
Is it safe to run the offer on FB? What kind of risk are we looking at?
Yes it's very possible. Facebook doesn't inherently not like weight loss. They have a lot restrictions on what you can and can't do though. Like no before & after shots. No outrageous claims, etc.
As with any direct response offer on Facebook there's going to be issues from time to time. I always recommend have a strategy to create or get accounts regardless.
True. Weight loss offer doesnt mean an automatic ban.
Yes, you must comply with their restrictions regarding your ads (as mentioned above) but if its a legit offer then it should be ok.
Especially if we are talking about a straight sale big brand offer.
Health and body products are risky in general. Mentioning ailments/diseases will result in dissaproved ads for sure. Still it's hard to decide without seeing the page if it's ready white hat as your AM is saying. Perhaps it's WH through his perspective, so be careful!
For general reference - here are some FB policies that are relevant to weightloss products:
