I think you might want to start again and go step by step according to this great tutorial by Amy: https://stmforum.com/forum/showthrea...ntro-and-Index

It looks like you're trying to use pop traffic to sell jewelry.

I don't think that will work.

It's good to test different things, so it was a good test that you did. But how much of that $5k deposit did you spend doing this test? I hope you didn't spend all of it before realizing you're not getting the results you wanted!

Pop traffic is general, broad traffic. This means the visitors are a general audience. They can be anybody - men, women, kids, adults, people with different interests. You cannot target by demographic, gender, age, etc. You can only target by country. This makes it difficult to sell merchandise, because you can't use good angles that can convert for a particular demographic.

Nobody likes ads, but pop ads are what people hate the most, because they are often not very relevant to people (again, due to lack of targeting by demographic/interests), and they pop up to interrupt people from browsing on whichever website they happen to be on. Therefore, the purchase intent is low, and it's very difficult to catch and hold people's attention using pop ads. Thus, pay-per-sale offers don't tend to convert well on pop traffic. Try pay-per-lead, or 1/2-click subscription offers.

For pop traffic, you can promote either:

a)Very general offers that most people would be interested in. Such as antivirus, sweepstakes, mobile games, videos. These offers can have low payouts if the conversion rates are high. The simpler the conversion flow, the better (1/2-click subscription, or single-opt-in pay-per-lead; double-opt-in pay-per-lead can work also; avoid long forms with lots of fields, and credit card submits).

OR

b)Offers that have high payouts, that ENOUGH of the general audience would still be interested in. Stuff like casino or forex/binary. Payouts for these are usually so high that there is a chance turning a profit even at low conversion rates.

In other words, the offer needs to be either a)very general and/or have very simple conversion flow if the payout is low, or 2)have very high payout if the offer isn't general enough and/or have more-complex conversion flow. And the jewelry offer isn't general enough or has high-enough payout.

For selling physical products, FB would be a much better channel than pop traffic. Here is a detailed newbie guide on ecommerce:

Affiliate marketing isn't something that can be mastered by a complete newbie in a few weeks, and it's usually not as simple as taking some banners from the advertiser or affiliate network and direct-linking them to the offer page (unless you can refine your targeting so that you're selling to a specific audience). However, everyone has to start somewhere, and I would like to congratulate you on taking the first step! Don't be afraid to test ideas. Don't be afraid to spend money. BUT try not to spend too much money on something UNLESS you keep trying DIFFERENT ways to make it work! I've seen people keep trying to run campaigns the same way and wasting money failing again and again, without trying different approaches. Avoid that mistake, but be willing to test a lot.

Please feel free to let us know what else you would like to try/test, and we will do our best to guide you.
