Banned By Adwords... is DoubleClick Bid Manager an alternative? (9)

Ive been banned by adwords over and over, but the traffic volume is worth it. I was wondering... instead of going through adwords suspensions for eternity, has anybody just jumped to using DBM as an alternative? I assume DBM has the exact same traffic + more... If we're spending enough and running our own clean whitehat offers, why wouldnt somebody just do this instead?

Yes, DBM has much more inventory than Adwords (Google Display Network), both in volume and variety (video, native, images, premium inventory). From what I saw during my agency job back in 2016, it seemed that getting a contract with Google to work with DBM was laborious. Things may have changed now.

I take it the only difference between adwords and DBM is that you will be paying slightly more for the same inventory? (i.e. 10%)

Bear in mind you’ll be moving to CPM (DoubleClick doesn’t do CPC).

Also brace yourself for one terrible UI - I’m not a DBM fan, it’s built for brands and it shows!

It's still pretty hard to get a DBM account. And TBH, significantly harder to manage. If anyone has any tips on managing campaigns in DBM, please let me know.

To run campaigns in Google DBM you should get a certification first and no, it's not harder to manage compare to Adwords.
The inventory selection and targeting options are muuuuch bigger! If you'd like to know more - welcome)
