Or even a "break even" story would be nice to hear.
Yes 8% CR with a weight loss product.
Unfortunately, FB doesn't let me run this offer anymore
I could achieve those results with a squeeze page and a great followup sequence.
I have never made any profit with a Landing Page or with direct linking with Clickbank.
But with Aweber and a solid followup sequence, I did it.
Julien, thanks for sharing that.
1. How did you capture the emails when it did work? With a fanpage?
2. You wrote "FB doesn´t let me run this offer anymore" --> does that mean they subscribed to your email newsletter and then FB checked the offers you make within? (and weight loss is on the "forbidden" list (?), though for example "Truth About Abs" seems to keep going strong with its ads on Facebook). I would really like to know if FB goes that far to chase affiliates.
Anybody reading this has advice on how to best handle this?
I can´t do a poll :-), but what would the FB gurus on the forum recommend?
A. FB ad --> landing page --> optin --> few emails with info, then 3rd or 4th email with an offer within?
B. FB ad --> fanpage --> "LIKE me! --> engage them first (sincere, no offers) --> only then get them outside Facebook with an optin (maybe thru a special TAB with optin form) --> email sequence, etc.
I made about $450 on $16 ad spend promoting Mobile Monopoly when it launched. Facebook disapproved the offer a day later. Most of the money was made from the reoccurring commissions. I was just direct linking to their page with out the exit pop.
I did around $180,000 in profit sending them directly to our Clickbank offer over a 6-7 month span. Gave up on Facebook about 2 months ago though when they axed pretty much every weight loss offer.
I did a 20% ROI on around $30k spend with the dietsolution weight loss and the DIY solar panels guide, however the biggest issue is watching for refunds. Many a profitable day was hit weeks later by refund rates ans high as 10.0% on some days. Facebook canned 2 of my accounts for running clickbank products, maybe it was because of exit pops or maybe because it had a rebill option... not sure, but like any traffic source and product it takes time, energy and effort to test, tweak and optimize.
Once the sweet spot has been hit there should still be easy money out there.
Also, I believe they have the WOT thing on Clickbank products now - so basically if they click your ad, it will tell them they dont trust the site, and they have to click YES to continue... conversion killer
justin, you guys were going direct to the standard hop page on FB? I assume the 180K wasn't front end profit only correct?
I profited by direct linking Get Your Ex Boyfriend Back, and The Diet Solution.
I've profited pushing a couple of the weight loss ones back in the day but my main concern was the refunds, just was annoying tracking it all then having to go back and edit it to try and keep on top.
Of course not, those shitty clickbank ebooks never work!
Haha poor Mr Green, forever alone
I'm going to be running my baby sleep clickbank product on facebook but I'm not sure whether I should be using a landing page, or whether the standard sales letter page is enough.
anyone using fb and clickbank stuff now?
