My understanding is that ad scraping is against FB's terms of service which is why all the other FB spy tools have gotten shut down (often not refunding customers money) and why players like Adplexity don't offer it.

How do you plan to overcome this?

We are aware of the others, but do not know the exact details of what they faced. We have consulted lawyers and believe we are as best protected as we can be given that we do not know what the exact issue was for them. Without going into too much detail, we do collect data in a very different way to any site that has closed.

Well the "usual" guy do it like this:
1) get as much subscribers as possible in shortest ammount of time
2) after you get a cease or desist find, rename product, switch existing subs
3) roll out affiliate and try to get some top affiliates with nice following to promote the product (email their list)

rinse and repeat.

I know where you are coming from. We hope to build a product for the long term. We have invested a great deal of time and money in this, it has been built from the ground up, not a re-hash of a closed service. As a result of our work we have by far the largest database of social ads of any tool that exists or has existed in the past.

We have already received a request from an STM member and implemented it right away. We would love to continue on this path of improving the product at the request of our users.

We have removed the result limit for monthly subscriptions as some people were confused by how much they will use. We will leave it like this for some time until it is clear how much data our users need. If you subscribe now it will remain unlimited in the future.

Unfortunately many people have abused the STM exclusive free trial code with multiple accounts. We want to give anyone else who hasn't tried it yet a few days to use it before we take the code down.

We are also looking for respected affiliates to promote our service. Please get in touch if you are interested.

We have some methods to detect the probability of a new account being a duplicate trying to get numerous free trials.

i am using adsector but very few affiliate ads especially non US

I have both AdSpy and AdSector, and for non-US I see no difference. AdSpy has very little results in non US and even in US their results are not as comprehensive as AdSector

Hi all,

Sorry we neglected to update you guys on STM during our downtime last month - we had some serious hardware failure. We were certainly not shut down.

Some above were asking about us vs AdSector. It depends on your criteria, this is as honest as we can be:

- If you advertise to mobile and/or Instagram only, you need AdSpy
- If you advertise to desktop only, you need AdSector
- If you do both and you really think you need to be spying on both, you should get both.

We are in the process of updating our affiliate network detection with up to date data, updates should be published in the next week.
