Retargeting strategy for my own offer (4)

Retargeting strategy for my own offer

For an offer I recently launched on a small affiliate MMO network , I have collected around 10,000 pixels for my retargeting list.

Now I should have set up the RT campaign beforehand but it’s never too late.

I have used various strategies in the past but never used a sequence or strategy.

Now I’m moving towards an actual ‘longer term’ strategy that focuses more on the psychology aspect and focusing on why they did not buy.

I am now creating more of a sequence to overcome the objections and reasons why I think the visitors who left, did not buy.

Has anyone here got a specific sequence you use for retargeting / remarketing?

I have 7 ads / videos I’m planning to create to run to the retargeting lists and each of the 7 ads will overcome 1 or 2 objections and combine more reasons to buy etc mixing it up with pain points / benefits / desires etc

I’m going to do this by telling a story over the 7 ad campaign too which will run over a 21 day sequence.

So my plan is to run each ad for 3 days before switching to the next ad in the sequence as I feel 3 days of seeing 1 ad and not buying, is enough before moving onto the next

HOWEVER is there a way to automate the switching of the ads?

For example can I tell Facebook something like “run ad 1 to the retargeting list for 3 days and if they do bot buy, switch it to Ad 2, then after 3 days ad 3,4,5 etc.

JUST how an email follow up sequence would be where it’s dependent on when the person came and opted in

Or does that have to be done manually?

Would love your insights!

I believe you can do that with Connect Retarget

WOW that looks insane!

Behavioural retargeting. This is EXACTLY WHAT I am looking for!

Thank you!!

You could also write a very simple Python/PHP/whatever script to use the API to do what you're looking for. It'd be about 10 lines of code.

Sadly, you can't do it using Facebook's automated Rules.
