My first conversions (in Mobile)
So,
I'm following Amy's 40-day tutorial on Mobile, and last night (NL) I got my first two conversions (Mobidea/PropellerAds combination). It was my third campaign, after starting out last week. Here's a Voluum screenshot from my own mobile phone

And one from my PropellerAds dashboard (with data from my other campaigns as well):

Using the kill-whitelist-calculator I'm now pretty sure I should discontinue this campaign, but to all my fellow noobs: It works

Congrats! The first one is definitely the best. It also gives you the motivation needed knowing that this thing works

Nice! The hardest step is going from 0 to 1. Next: Full speed ahead from 1 to 10! Then 100, 1000, 10000 (conversions)...

It's my first campaign. I was learning from Charles NGO guide nad Vortex! NOW I know - I had to stop it. Feeling is good. But it's not making money.

@stuart_nl
I know the thread is few months old already but I see that the VAT is shown on your Propeller Screenshot.
For you and everyone else, get a VAT number as soon as possible.
Otherwise you pay 20% more for your traffic.
That means for every $1k you spend on traffic in Propeller you have to pay $1.2k.
That is 1/5 of your money thrown out of the window.

There's always a learning curve in the beginning! Knowing enough to launch your first campaign is a major milestone!
But yes - those numbers look hopeless. Next time you'll know to stop earlier!
Also - now that you have experience with direct-linking, time to learn how to use landers ASAP! Don't waste any more time and money on direct-linking to 1/2-click offers - that model doesn't work anymore (still good practice in the beginning though!)
And if you need more guidance, please start a separate follow-along thread, and we'll continue there.

Hi Twinaxe,
Thank you for the warning and you are absolutely right. I have to fix it by opening a new account with PA as they cannot adjust my present account. Fortunately I already have a VAT number I can use.

They can adjust your current account.
I had the same problem.
Although I have my VAT number for many years already i just forgot to add it to Propeller.
I spent about $15k or so before I realized my mistake.
Then I told my AM about it and my VAT number got added to my account for all following payments.

Maybe I will have to spend a lot more first then, here’s the original answer from Support:
Hello!
Unfortunately, the type of account is not something we can change. Please create a new one with the correct type, entering your VAT.
Best Regards,

PA Support Team
But it doesn’t matter much anyway as I only have about $40 left in my old account. Thx anyway!

Unluckily Propeller Ads support is little bit strange sometimes.
Once they say it can´t be done, then it can be done nontheless.
Pretty some time ago I asked my AM if they currently have promotion codes.
I was told they don´t have promo codes anymore.
Then in May there was the Propeller Ads webinar where you received a promotion code for attending...

So did you get the promo codes for July? I did, well that’s at least a small comfort...
