'website conversions' with no pixel
Hey guys, been running a US campaign for an advertiser that has no option to place a pixel.
tested both 'website traffic' and 'website conversions' and the latter worked better.
campaign worked ok until the traffic almost died out after a week.
two questions:
1. it seemed to me that FB gave me a better convertible pool of users when i used 'website conversions" even with 0 pixels actually fired. is that right?
2. is it possible that FB stops driving traffic to this kind of campaign due to the fact that it sees 0 results?
thanks

That's definitely possible. I've heard similar reports in the past. It might also just be coincidence, though - how large was the difference between the two?

Yes, that's definitely something that can happen with conversion campaigns if they don't convert.

This could be a good argument to persuade them to pay some coder a few bucks to make placing of the pixel possible
