Manual Spying

Hey guys, I had a quick question regarding manual spying.

I’m using adplexity to find websites that have Revcontent ads.

I’ll click the websites and it seems like every page I go to I see the same affiliates ads. He runs the same offers on every website it seems. I feel like every website he has control over. Now, I’m thinking he’s just retargeting to me somehow some way that I can’t see anyone else’s ads.

Is there a way to stop this kind of thing? I’m spying incognito as well. I know there’s thousands of affiliates running on Rev and this guy can’t be the only one. Lol

Any help is much aporeciated.

Het Beerandon11,
They are definitely retargeting you, its not difficult to retarget someone using Revcontent. Even if you use incognito, that won't stop them from retargeting you, as incognito doesn't hide your "online identity" in any way..
Try using this trick and see what happens: there is a X on the upper right corner of each revcontent widget, click on it and follow the screen: Click image for larger version.

Another frequent reason for this is a bad VPN, some ad networks (not sure if REV is doing this) detect that you are on a VPN/Proxy/or other type of "masked" connection and serve filler ads to you. On the other hand, a good VPN can help you a lot when spying In many cases, it's just certain "points" that cause problems, and all you need to do is to switch to another one in the VPN client.
