Anyone who has their own Dating site?
I would be very thankful if someone told me the best platform to use when operating a dating site...looking at alternatives now and don't feel like I am heading in the right direction

There are plenty of whitelabel options out there.

Is the first one that comes to mind :-)

Best is to just make your own. These white label services don't leave any room for doing the most important things: remarketing, collecting data, creating custom flows, etc. I'm sure you can do some of those things... but why not just pay a few bucks for a designer, and then a few more for a coder to make you something that stands a chance?

Because it's not going to be a "few more bucks" ... coding a custom dating site backend will be quite expensive. And the OP still won't know if they are able to run it efficiently at all. That's why it's a good idea to setup a whitelabel, run some traffic to it to see what the numbers look like and if they like what they see ... working on their very own dating site could be the next step.

Thank you for the feedback so far, I am open to using a CRM also (like Konnektive) with a frontend system attached to it. I found that the "split" with white label solutions is quite rough. That being said we haven't operated a dating site yet so its really a mixed bag

Since you have no experience with running a dating site, I would still recommend to test some whitelabel system first, the best be to use some that gives you more options when it comes to configuring it. So the web doesn't look like the millionth copy of the same thing. I think I saw some whitelabel dating provider that also provided the option to handle members in some way, so it wasn't just a 50/50 kind of a revshare deal. You need to test the monetization in some way, so you know what to expect, before investing heavily into coding/design/promotion of your own dating site.

I agree with matuloo 100%
Don't go on your own straight away. There'r SOOOO many things going on the backend of an dating site it's crazy. Allow youself to get to know the ins and outs of running that on your own. I'm working with whitelabel, hubpeople, prelinker, mastersincash etc Work closely with your AM, get momentum on your offers/niches/GEO, make a plan how to grow and set a goal with your AM and if you hit it you've arrived.. Negotiate your %
You have enough going on with advertising dating..right?

We've made white labels for a few close partners, exclusive to them. Could work, we'd have to discuss what you're looking for, expectations, etc. Send me a PM if you're interested. It would be a dating site, no nudity.
