Dropship Store for Japanese Market
I'm going to start a general E-commerce dropshipping store for the first time, and want to focus on the Japanese market (that speak Japanese).
Japan's a bitch of a demo to deal with since the language is difficult (suppose hiring VAs for customer support that speak Japanese is expensive too) and has the highest CPM out of all countries on facebook. But as a native Japanese speaker with knowledge of their culture, this has allowed me to have success running nutra on FB in Japan since most affs don't touch it.
So considering the Japanese language roadblock, is this demo fairly untapped? I figure most ecom stores advertise to the English speakers in Japan on Facebook since most products ship to Japan as well, but do they bother creating a Japanese page and marketing to the Japanese speakers?
Thanks!

Japan is generally a GEO that is not really targeted much by international affiliates. Native knowledge of the language and culture is a HUGE advantage. There are several areas where you could definitely find great opportunity, not just dropshipping. For example ADULT has a truckload of unused inventory for Japan, and not many people know what to do with it, so it's quite cheap.

Sounds like a great opportunity, agreed. Very few people target Japan - as you say, the combination of language and click costs puts most people off.
Let us know how it goes!

Fantastic that's what I wanted to hear haha
I actually did start running Adult traffic for Japan selling Male Enhancement. I've found a few consistently good placements, but it's been hard to get the volume I want (compared to Facebook). Maybe a dating offer might work better...the funnels I've seen for it are absolute trash lol. I definitely have to test more

Go to traffichaus and tell them you want to buy JP traffic on a flat deal, they have lot's of it and most buyers don't know how to monetize it, so you should be able to get it at a decent rate. And if they tell you otherwise, it's BS, I wanted to get rid of it on some flat buy and nobody wanted it

I would most definitely try to tap into into JP considering your obvious advantage.
Once you establish a demand for some products try moving them over to Amazon.jp. Take some time to learn all the taxes involved while selling there though.
I think you can be BIG IN JAPAN (Sorry about that, i had to...)
