Rookie Hits +5500 conversions: Pin Submit - Tier 2 - One FB Account - No Cloaking
Not very often I try to help and support starting mediabuyers to make decent money via sweeps on Facebook. Since budgets are most of time not that big for a starter I am taking them back to the basics. No cost on spytools, tracking software or other "unnecessary" costs, just mediabuy spend! A method I am fancying for about 5 years now and still is relevant to the affiliate marketing business.
This person had some experience with FB ad manager and running campaigns for companies. She quit her job, I took her by hand and we started around Q4 - 2017.
Tools;
- 1 account
- fb ad manager
- cake login of advertiser
Setup;
- fresh and clean domain - > hosting the survey prelander (4 simple questions regarding groceries/shopping)
- after the 4 questions, CTA button containing affiliate link
This way you can put the fresh domain link in FB ad manager, which never will be blocked or raise flags from start (if prelander is clean, not agressive and doesn't contain pop-up boxes, push notifications or other disturbing stuff)
Campaign details;
- pin submit
- costa rica
- two supermarket voucher campaigns
- targeting women 35+, broad (no interest)
- angle something like - "Tap Here, We Might Pay Your Groceries This Month"
Results; (see image below)
- more than 5500 conversions
- ROI 100% +
- xx/xxx daily income
- account and campaign still running (!!!) - account is 216 days old
- average cpc 0,02 cents

Learnings;
- cloaking is not a must (yes, I keep repeating this over and over again)
- try to run less agressive and your campaign and account will last long(er)
- spread your budgets on multiple accounts - not 500 euro/day on 1 account, better 100 euro/day on 5 accounts each
- having a solid account is key - if your foundation is stable you can easily build a house brick by brick
- be patient - try to learn the basics of affiliate marketing/pin submits/facebook etc before you think of money & scaling
At the moment she runs several campaigns on multiple accounts (invest -> learn -> optimize -> make profit -> invest a bit more -> expand -> more profit et etc).

How difficult is it to work with multiple accounts so that they are not affiliated?
Need to log in on different days, or maybe something else?
This is always a dilemma. On the one hand, you want to diversify, on the other - you can lose several accounts at once. My "record" is gluing and blocking 5 accounts at the same time.

There are several solutions for this. Do it yourself or paid services ofcourse. Once you are flagged on a pc/laptop, you need to make sure you start off clean;
- clean device, clean ip's, clean domains, clean creditcards etc etc

This hassle was the very reason why I never jumped hard at FB, solid results though!

Amazing results! We too have been using questions => CTA landers with some success on sweep offers.
Can you recommend some networks that have good PIN submit offers? I'm having a hard time finding good ones.

Advidi, Online Activity, VIP Response, Mundo Media for example, although I prefer to go directly most of the time!

Do you ever have problems when using a fresh domain with no history? I get a lot of bans when trying, usually it will tell me that that something went wrong and I have to refresh the page and I get an ID block. While using established domains works well.

I always use brand new domains yes, static. So
www.prelander-brand-x.com for example, without any parameters/sub'ids or other tracking extentions behind the domain.
Maybe the block is triggered by something else, the lander too agressive perhaps or other suspicious things on the page. You got an example/link where the block appeared?

I appreciate all the positive feedback, thanks. I am not taking random people by hand, perhaps a bit naive of me, I could have expected a run of requests according to this post. Apologies, I am busy at the moment and perhaps in future I will open a session or course to help "newbies" out in group form.
Ofcourse I am always here to give feedback on follow alongs and such!

Your PM box exploded, right?

I get lots of requests from members too, but it's simply not possible to find time for that, that's why I prefer to keep it all on the forum too. Thanks for posting great stuff stickupkid !!!

You don't use any tracking tool for this campaign ? only the statistics center of the network?
I'm still impressed how people can easily convince people to finish a pin submit offer . I don't know the weekly subscription cost for Costa Rica but generally it's a lot
I send you a PM btw about Baron

That's correct. Not optimizing on anything, just keep the lowest cpc's run and scale them!

Would this be 1 business manager account or spread out across multiple accounts under a single business manager?

On one personal account this was generated. But if you really want to scale I advice to push the offer on more accounts, different domains, slightly different text and all unique images.
Try to avoid any trends in your ads otherwise if one gets flagged badly it’s likely FB might find your other ads on other account and take them down too.

i am interested with the landing page, so it`s just a simple question about 4 simple questions regarding groceries/shopping?
clean and clear posting in one page just like a blog?

It’s not a blog thing, more of a dedicated lander with a simple survey on it. Something like this (and then 3 or 4 questions).

@stickupkid would you still recommend starting off simply without cloaking? Is this setup still relevant today?

We still don’t cloak indeed, doing xxx pin subscribers a day without it!

Hi Stickupkid,
Thank you for sharing this solid stuff.
If your Ad creatives got disapproved, did you make an appeal for the ad or just create a new one?
How do we know if our PCs/laptops were flagged?
Once it was flagged, do we need to change the PC? It sounds expensive if we need to change a new PC every time it's flagged.
Thanks.

- I adjust according the hints FB is giving yes, no appeal since appealing these ads would be tricky for the account (since it kinda grey-ish)
- You can assume having multiple accounts banned on one device, you are marked (if it's after 6 ,16 or 26 accounts nobody knows?)
- You can enter multiple accounts from one device, but not too much accounts ofcourse. But their are ways to manage dozens of accounts from one device, you just need to trick FB somehow!

Hi Stickupkid,
Thank you for the prompt reply. It was really helpful.
I'm curious about how can we manage dozens of FB business Manager in one device by tricking FB. Could you please share your methods?
The way I can think of is using the different browser, cleaning cookies for the same browser, using different IPs (or VPNs, proxy).
Thank you.

Yeah it's best to make everything unique regarding every single account. IP's, device fingerprint, but also lander domains, payment methods, text/images (ads) etc etc. I think you find more info about this at Blackhatworld, here we don't talk about it that much honestly!

Just the simple surveys/spin the wheel/quizzes/questionnaires you see around. Made from scratch by a front-end developer. Maybe upwork has some good ones for a small price?
