Just noticed a few days ago we had $1200 outstanding balance on WorldLeads.
We contacted them and this is what they said:
"Thank you for your email. Our team has just reviewed your account.
It looks like that you have been sending traffic to Dating offers back in 2016, such as XXXXXXXXX. The reason that your balance has not been paid yet and your applications to run offers were rejected because the Advertiser associated with these offers has rejected 100% of your leads back in 2016. Since they have not paid us any money for those Dating leads, we have the legal right to refuse to pay any commissions associated with fraud or unpaid leads by the Advertiser - as per our T.O.S.
Our team members were trying to contact your company back then via the provided contact details, but there were no replies from your part."
This is hilarious since we're one of the biggest Mainstream dating affiliates in the World and sent literally hundreds of thousands of dollars of leads to this offer through other networks as well.
Plus it's the first time we heard about this. No email had been sent and no justification or proof for the rejection of the leads was provided. Their AM has been AWOL for months.
It's not the first time we've had issues with WorldLeads either. Last year they gave us a Pay per sale nutra offer that we ran for months, then literally threatened to not pay us over $5k worth of sales because our lander wasn't compliant with the advertiser terms. The catch here is they gave us the lander themselves! After a few months of back and forth, they paid us but only after we promised we would start running traffic again to the offer (that supposedly didnt want us as affiliates).
Avoid these guys, shady as hell.
