Been reading some blogs and such to explore this topic.
What size banner ads are you all finding convert best on mobile?
Are your banners seamlessly fitting on the page so it looks like part of the blog post or wherever it's located?
(I'm going to be doing Native Traffic)
Do colors really attract people, or do people recognize ads too quickly and develop banner blindness?
Do banner ads related to your content but not specifically your content convert better, or do people feel slighted when what they clicked isn't what's offered? (right angle advertising)
The mainstream size seem to be top or bottom mobile ad of 300x250, is this going to still be the case in 2018?
I know much of this boils down to testing especially A/B type landing page testing, but I'd like to get a head start.
Thanks.
Given you're doing native, I'd recommend rewording the title of this post to mention that. When we say "mobile" on STM, many people think display or pops rather than native.
I've added a mention of that to your title - let me know if you'd prefer not to have it in there, but I think it'll help you get more specific advice.
Thanks. Wasn't aware of the difference yet.
from my experience , the best size is 300x300 and 300x250, of course when you put color the odds of getting conversion is much higher, when you know your traffic quality and sources, you will know the best way to fit the ads to the traffic , but when speaking generally 300x300 and 300x250 are the best-converting sizes
The formats are also related to particular networks, some require an additional text, some don't. The sizes can also differ a bit ... since you want to deal with mobile users, large part will be in-app traffic, with different banner sizes ... even icons in some cases.
Thanks. Makes sense.
