Merry Christmas and Todays the Start of my First Campaigns.
I'm going to do a full reveal of what I'm doing and hopefully someone else can follow if it goes anywhere.
There's lots of problems to solve at different priority levels - However 1 step at a time
Here's my general start goals for this month:
- Increase Store Reliability
- Aggressively Test Products and start getting any sales as fast as possible!
Here's my current campaign:
Niche: Sleep Problems/Insomnia
Campaign: Facebook AD (image of ad below) -------> landing page (cta add to cart) ------>

Unfortunately, I'm not too confident about how well i targeted on facebook - still working on my understanding of how to target---
Anyways, I split up my campaign like so:
-----> Targeting / Men/ Mobile only
------- targeting / women/ mobile only
------ targeting / men/ desktop only
------ targeting/ women/ desktop only
Current Questions/problems:
Test new products/Getting off the ground
- What's the best way to test products fast? Do you guys do landing pages for new products, or just direct link and go from there.
This is a big one, because on one side, direct linking to products seems overdone --- on the other hand, making a custom landing page everytime is also alot of work.
What's the best way to test lot's of products fast, pick a winner and continue from there?
Facebook ads (engagement vs conversion goal)
Not sure whether to use engagement or conversions as a goal for campaign. What's the benefit of one over the other.
I know some people start with engagement as a goal, then switch to conversion. Is this even something that I need to worry about?
- Shopify store/facebook branding - -----> How much effort should I concentrate into making it perfect. Can you guys give feedback on my current store (Handla.co)
Landing page
- Feedback on landing page -----> This is my first landing page ever can you guys give feedback on it

Just a quick one:
Change the creative to something different (like: "can't sleep? - use this and (insert benefit)" and set your ads to run at night only: https://www.facebook.com/business/help/1381935425400769
Keep timezones for your target audience in mind of course.
I spoke with a marketer about my store - and he gave me some ideas:
First of all - My store is kinda all over the place right now.
Most Ecom guys preach this idea of having a general store to start -
However, with all these stores popping up, people need more convincing ----
Here's the Issue with the "General" Store Idea that I'm having:
- Difficult to make it look "Legit" ---- People expect you'll have departments, lot's of products and would look for a similar experience and can't don't find one.
- As soon as they go off the product page, the store's functionality is not realistic for a "general store"
I Currently Don't feel my brand has a defined "Feeling" that can be picked up on. Why should anyone trust/Buy from us?
Is my store's Image catering to a trusting emotional response?
What is "Handla.co" -What kind of voice do we have?
Currently the logo is Pink and Baby Blue and white - These Colours invite imagery of Cotton Candy, Baby stuff - This is now leaning towards a more female demographic.
Takeaways/Goals:
- Focus on quality/trustworthy Image and representation. I'm going to close down the audience and market to them, instead of trying to appeal to everyone at the cost of having a more trustworthy image.
Here's my updated game plan after a few days of thinking of how to approach,
- Currently Updating website, cleaning it up - add products again and going to market most to women.
- Looking for a spy tool to spy on facebook ads that are running right now. Does anyone have any suggestions on a good spying system?
- Going to run 15 offers that are already getting traffic but using some of the currently running campaigns and continue to do so until I hit some sales.
I looked at your landing page and one thing that needs addressing is the fact that the offer is all the way down in the bottom section.
And there's no price...
Plus, you don't clearly answer the questions in the top section and the 7 oil types are taking up a lot of space. And you don;t mention which ones are in the kit
Definitelysome fixing to do.
Keep working at it and keep us posted!
