This is great, Kulwant; thanks for the share! This, along with along with a few more posts/anecdotes I've seen recently, continues to get my gears turning about community-building.

I love the trust & authenticity building you did, engaging the users with pure value, leading up to the perfectly-timed opportunity to push some products.

I'm running something similar and making just a few dollars;

My ideas
- Cost per subscriber 1000/5714=18 cent
- 5714 subscribers making $9000 is about right.
- 18 cent per subscriber is absurd low, especially cold traffic at FB. Normally it will cost at least 10 times more.

I was running lead ads with LeadsBridge and Geo was India only.

Great share kulwantnagi! Why not setup the same system, but don't revolve it around black friday or any holiday?

Find some CPA offers, or affiliate programs that are focused on hosting, SEO tools, etc that are permanently at a "discount".

Then create an auto-responder series with the same flow. Don't sell anything for the first couple weeks. Just give value, then work in your discounted tools / services.

Keep the facebook ads running 24/7 and tweak the autoresponder to maximize monetization.

It looks like a simple concept and can be done around any niche.

Low hanging fruit for the ones who are willing to do the work!

Hey this is very inspiring for me - I really need to get into list building, it just seems like to be a big turning point for people.

Question though, do you have any additional income coming from this at the moment? Have you ran offers since then? Or, are you getting re-bills from this? that would be a great strategy, basically prime everyone to buy on black friday and then collect the reoccuring payments several months later
