AppInstalls on Facebook - How? (8)

Hey Guys!

I'm doing big volumes of AppInstalls on facebook FOR A CLIENT.

That means I have access to his ad account and can create AppInstall Campaigns that directly link to the appstore/playstore.


Can I do the same if I promote CPI offers from Networks?


How do you guys promote Apps with facebook?

Last time I promoted app installs, I had to use a third party postback based tracking solution, in order to get credited for all installs delivered. I was linking directly to the playstore, but the traffic had to go through the tracking to get the clickID set. I doubt much has changed since and I think this is still the default setup.

So I suppose you then used link ads with the tracking link?

Some apps used to give you access to one of their ad accounts or something like that. I never ran them but I know you were able to run them directly like for a client. It's complicated, it takes time to setup and also all your work is 100% transparent to the advertiser. Choose this path at your own discretion.

There are CPI offers where the advertiser can grant permission to your Business Manager ID, so that the app would show up in your account, available for you to driving traffic to.

Conversions would naturally be tracked from the advertiser's/network's end.

You'd have to do some looking and asking around for such offers though. And if you can run volume, then it would be a challenge to find offers that don't have caps. But they do exist - again, look and ask around.
