I have been looking at landers for adult dating campaigns and most of the landers I see are question landers.. 5 or more questions.
But I also see that the offers themselves are using questions..
So here is my question.. Is it better to use one click landers to avoid a flow with too many questions? Or do multiple question landers work better?
Most offers seem to have 2 questions such as are you male/female and are you looking for male/female.
The pre-landers are more of the what type of partner are you looking for, will you respect them and not treat them like pornstars, what type of body, how close do they need to be etc. I guess you can split test but I think survey ones are popular for a reason.
But yes some offer pages do have the survey built in so don't double survey them. Check the flow first. I've spied on some people making that mistake
Multiple questions work better as it increases engagement. For me single page landers didn’t work well on test. You don’t always need to have rules type landers that you mentioned, I have tested another lander recently with a deck of cards which you can click to see the girl behind. It works equally good as the rules type lander for me.
test both versions. But in adult dating your banners play much bigger role for conversion rate than LPs
Landers are important, but yeah banners I believe are more important.
Being able to create winning angles/banners over and over again that target the correct audience is a skill I think you can really only learn after testing thousands of them.
You not only have to create banners that convert, but also create ones that get a good enough CTR that you can profit with as well.
Not the easiest to do.
And just ripping banners you find on spy tools may help a little, but seldom do you find a winner. There's usually a story behind why that banner is working for the affiliate that you can't see (ie better targeting, payout, traffic price etc).
I come across my banners all the time on spy tools that I know are duds lol
Oh back to the original question, in my opinion longer landers work better as the user is engaged more.
Based on my experience, LPs and Banners are of similar importance, there is one thing that makes the LP part a lot easier though ... they don't burn out that fast. So while you can effectively run with the same set of LPs for months, there is no chance for banners to survive that long. Adult banners need to be refreshed very often, which makes it a very time confusing and complicated task. This often confuses people and they think LPs are not that important, as they can use the sames ones for months and months ... but it's the burnout that causes the problem as only a fraction of those who see the banner, will actually make it to the LP.
