"You can't log in right Now" - Getting my Account Back?

Hi everyone,

I've been locked out of my Facebook account for over a week now.

I immediately submitted a photo when they requested it, but still can't log in. It seems to be a common problem, but I can't find any way to appeal it or anything.

My ads are still running so it wasn't because of any violations against the policies.

I hardly use my personal account (that I'm locked out of) which probably looks suspicious to them.

The same thing has happened before, but in the past I got the account back within hours or at most 2-3 days.

Does anyone know what I can do? Does someone from Facebook visit these forums? I can't contact Facebook support because they don't seem to have any support!

I could tell my CC company to not pay the bill, but I suspect (without knowing 100%) that my ad campaigns are actually profitable. I don't really want to start a new account anyway because I have existing pages, pixels, etc.

Hey,

I would keep trying to contact them, i have had affiliates who have had similar issues and being persistent with Facebook usually works. Unfortunately they don't really tell you what you did wrong but rather say that you broke their terms or policy. Did you have videos that were being used? I find that most times its videos that cause these suspensions. Were you given a time frame with this ban? sometimes they will give you a 30 day ban which can not be lifted until that specific time frame is over.

Some common reason for a suspension could be

1. more than 20% text in ads
2. You didn’t match the advert to the landing page
3. You accessed your ads account via a proxy IP
4. You used words which implied betting/gambling
5. A video was used that was misleading or "click bait"

Unfortunately my contacts at Facebook wouldn't be able to help with this so as i stated before if you didn't do anything wrong just screen grab everything and keep sending it to them.

Where can I send it to them? I literally can't find an address or support inbox without getting into my account.

And I don't think I got a ban, just temporarily can't login while they verify my identity.

Did they give you a time frame? If its a week pause i would just let it be and not push it too much but if it is longer i would contact them.

From what i can see you can do that here: https://www.facebook.com/help/?helpref=hc_global_nav

Yes, after you have sent in your ID you should be able to get your account back after a couple of days.

Google for "Confirm your identity with Facebook" and there should be a form for you to use

Thanks, I tried that but it returns the following error when I try to submit the form.

This is the page I've been getting when I try to log in...

Normally, yes. However, it has been over 10 days now! That's why I'm trying to find a solution.

Update:

Finally got my account back!

Not sure if any of the steps I took actually made a difference, but I'm relieved to finally have access again.

Any tips on how to prevent this from happening again?

Photo ID is normal when you first start spending on an account. Even if the account is 15 years old.
So you need to be patient in future :-)
