Hey guys,
I used to do a lot of nutra campaigns going super broad by doing "Ads in Mobile Apps" campaigns by just selecting my demographic and then a few app categories (Bid Only) and utilizing demographic negatives and category negatives. Adwords has removed the Ads in Mobile Apps campaigns last month I believe and gave their workaround by just disabling mobile web people in the campaign settings and then choosing the right app category via Topics and Interests....performance is no where near the same. Anyone else facing the same issues? I noticed they also removed the "Error Pages, Photo Sharing, and Video Sharing" site category exclusions lol, any advice on that one?
Another issue I'm having is the influx of bs app placements lately crucifying my CPA. I've always gone broad but the last month or so has been pretty brutal with all these AV apps and other crap apps popping up (high placement CTR but horrible performance - could this be interstellar ads and/or some other kind of intrusive ad causing the high ad CTR but low performance?)
