Hey guys,
A few months ago a made a report about what I thought were the hot trends on native in the affiliate space. You can get a copy here.

Now I'm back for round two with a little bit of airplane reading for your biz class flight to bangkok. This time I wrote about 3000 words on what I think will be the big trend of 2018 for internet money making. Aside from crypto day trading....
I think straight up media arbitrage with affiliate offers will continue to get more and more difficult. traffic costs rise, competition rises, payouts stay the same. Nothing is stopping that trend.
How can you compete? How can you actually build something of value? And How can you do this as quickly and effectively as you can scale a promising affiliate campaign?
Those are the questions I'm trying to answer in my report.
I also included an crypto offer affiliate case study to illustrate my points.
You can download it here

I put it behind and email submit because I want to get feedback on it. So in a few days I'll email you asking what you thought.
Also if the scheme interests you, let me know because I would love to mastermind with some people do similar things.
PS
Thanks a lot to Kesh on the elite promoter forum. I stole some of his ideas and pretend they are my own. Once an affiliate always and affiliate.
Amazing article and funnily enough, it's the direction I have been currently taking (hybrid of content / ecomm). I witnessed success and passion behind some FB Groups this year, and couldn't help but see dollar signs. Thanks for sharing.
Really great read, recommended!
Kevin Kelly coined "1000 true fans" some time ago: http://kk.org/thetechnium/1000-true-fans/
So if you're interested in this, the link above is an interesting read
Thanks guys, Yeah it definitely follows along with 1000 true fans.
That hard part is getting the 1000 true fans.
That's where i think affiliate media buying skills can really come in handy. You just need to find away to at least break even on the acquisition.
hey hlyghst! how is Saigon treating you these days? hows the affiliate community doing out there?
Def good read, thanks. Sent you an email
awesome sales funnel man, great pdf u created
tottally agree about it
community thing is true, im living proof
i came into aff marketing a century ago (ok 2007) and was doing porn aff marketing for many years, there i had created a service to answer the need of porn webmasters needing custom blog posts written, porn site reviews, and the rest... this company is www.contentpimp.info - super shitty website, very simple but this 1 company made multiple 7 figures in revenue over the years, and the peak had 54 full time copywriters each ranking out on average 3000 words per day.
another thing the 'porn webmaster community' needed was blog posting service, image cropping, video editing, and submitting services, so i created another company for that which was called pimp labor...
---then i switched to aff marketing, embracing the community----
quickly during the process, i realized affiliates need landers, and banners, and for cheap - because they need tons of them.. plus they need them super fast, they don't have time to deal with the 'artists' on upwork, and the like who take days or weeks to do 1 damn lander, and want an arm and a leg for it, because well they are 'masters of their craft, aka artists' so banners&landers was created ...
then i realized most affiliates only know how to rip n run, from spy tools, they aint creative, they struggle with angles, and ideas... so i created anglesaurus, 10 angles for 100$ !!
then when things started to get saturated in english speaking geos, i noticed that a shit ton of the aff community is going international, so i created www.transey.com which provides translations for 60% cheaper than ONE HOUR TRANSLATION which was the preferred choice <-- these guys take massive profit margins, HUGE!! so the new service offered same native level translations by natives only, at 60% OFF..
so yea embracing community works, these are my side projects but they generate amazing revenues each year and continue to grow, and are stable, they dont get shut down like aff offers, no one can rip n run what we do because we do it so bad ass (like our safe site service, where all is built by hand, and content is 100% original, helping BH affs with their accounts lasting longer..)
PS: i built the porn companies without spending a damn cent on any paid advertising; thats how powerful the community is, basically it was done via community forums... and engagement, thats it..
thanks attila.
I think your site http://iamattila.com/ is also a perfect example. You're providing solid free content. building and email list. monetizing it with affiliate product (STM forums, traffic sources, networks), and your own products, banners and landers, transey.
It's a pretty simple but effective white hat authority site that powered by a specific community that knows and trusts you.
