Many people told me to run gaming on PPV since it does so well so I figure I might as well give it a shot!
Hey dude, could you post a screenshot of the lander? It would help being able to understand the offer and whether or not a lander might be useful. I could help you build a lander if so.

Im thinking we are going to need landing page.
Firstly this is what your lander is going to look like when it pops.
Users are going to have to go to a huge effort to figure out what is going on. Unless you used some window resizing javascript...which might not be allowed.
Two variations I would try for the lander:
1. Try to grab the video. Put it on auto play. Have a call to action button "Play Now" below.
2. Grab the images for the original lander. Plus some in game screenshots. Include a big flashy "Play Now" button. Buy a $5 voice over from fiverr, this girl is great.
You could try direct linking just incase. But you should definitely be testing with some landers.
How big would you make the in game screenshots?
Would you have the girl say something like: "You've been choosen to beta test the new game Champion's Online!"

In terms of the voice over you could try "You've been choosen to beta test the new game Champion's Online!" sure.
Also try:
"Hey there, are you bored? Play Champion's Online and start kicking some ass!"
"Be your own superhero today, and start killing some bad guys. Sign up here, it's free!"
"Looking for Champion's Online? Sign up here, it's free!"
The girl from fiverr will do them all for $5 since they are so short.

Sweet good start! If possible I'd trim the first 16 seconds of the video.
Also I would try test the head with "Welcome to Champions Online" and get have the button say "Click here to Play Now!"
You wouldnt try it out first doing site targeting?
Whats a good program to trim the videos?
I only know mac programs, so if you have mac the imovie does the trick, or quicktime pro.
I would try test site targeting too. But at the moment it says "Welcome [Site] Video" ,watch video, sign up here. You need some kind of text mention about what is going on.
With that being said...spend some money. See what happens then we can discuss more.
If you're on a Windows computer you can use the installed "Movie Maker" to trim your videos. Just do a google search for "Windows Movie Maker II" if you're on Windows7 
So the campaign just got approved, added in a bunch of new targets.
Started out direct linking and it got conversions!

Sharp drop off in conversions after I upped the budget, not sure what happened.

and 20 dollars revenue.
What I did in the beginning was take my data from google adplanner (the demographics) and run it though the media planner. Grabbed the 250 results and threw it in a campaign.
BAD MOVE!
What I didn't realize was I got a ton of bad urls that drained the budget like tinypic.com and just about everything else that was unrelated. I paused those but it was to late so now what im doing:
Taking the URLS that got some leads and running them only with a 10 dollar budget. I will report back tommorow to let you guys know how it went!
Sounds good.
Make sure in the future you go manually through each url to avoid unrelated urls.

Stick in there man! It happens to all of us. Failing test is all part of the fun. Makes you appreciate the big winning campaigns a lot more

A new thread would make it a lot cleaner to follow! Start fresh .
i know it's cut off but maybe someone else could use the info..
move the start to 16th second or whatever, start=16 parameter on youtube. personally i'd just skip to 47 second or whatever when the action begins.
i'd also photoshop some of the offer lander graphics and use them as a background instead of white "square".
@sntr: that's a great tip. Also you can use Moyean FLV Editor Lite (free version) to edit. Just google it.
