Just noticed that facebook now shows 6 ads instead of 4.
I'm curious too see what impact this will have on my CTR today !
Please post if you see any notable differences in your ads CTR.
More inventory for them.
I am curious how this will affect bid prices
More chance to serve more than one of your ads to people at the same time, if you have multiple campaigns hitting the same demo. This can be a good and a bad thing. Split your campaigns into 6 and flood people with images of hotties xD They're bound to click one.
Also means more chance to have your ad served below the fold...
funny I am still not seeing this....most I ever see is 5....also with the new time line from what I understand the ads will auto-scroll so the likelihood that ads will not be shown is less...prob why they did this....also they prob have been tracking peoples screen size(via js) and have seen larger and larger real-estate.....as monitors have grown alot in size in the last 2 yrs....6 ads wont be below the fold on most 1080 screens(most 22in monitors are this)
Ads #5 and #6 show up below the fold on any 1366x768 laptop.
Zeno, I don't think it's a good thing because facebook still has the same formula for pricing the clicks and now, there's more ads which means that you'll receive a lower CTR as a result.
Sooner or later, Facebook will have 15 ads plastered everywhere.
Is this why I am noticing lower suggested bids these days
??
