Traveling while logging into Business Manager

Whatsup STMers !

Quick question for whoever has experience with working while traveling...

This is the first time that I have to take my laptop with me since Im always working from home, but during the holidays I will be not traveling out of the country or anything but what are the rules as far as logging into business manager and my IP is totally off. Will I be flagged for unusual activity or what proper precautions should I be taking ?

Appreciate the help.

Thanks!
Carolyn

Depends on the country you are travelling to, but in general it's not a problem to login from different area's. You might have to pass a certain checkpoint, so don't get too nervous!

I've logged in from Austria, Germany, Spain, UK, Netherlands, Russia, Thailand, Philippines, Romania so far in the span of a few months. Didn't use VPN but I did log into my personal account as well, and had the same phone with the FB Ads app with me.

I believe most issues happen when you log into the same Business Manager from different countries while using different users.

My FB accounts stopped getting traffic in the past for few hours and just started again without notice, might be a manual review or something...

Usually that's a manual review, happens even if you log in just from one geo - more to do with your campaigns frequency and budget.

Different IP adresses aren't really a problem for FB, but different fingerprints are a problem.

For example;
same cellphone, other geo = no problem in general
other cellphone, same geo = could be a problem
other cellphone, other geo = for sure a problem

Yep, I had a laptop that was already familiar for FB and same for the phone. Just different IP/geo. No issue whatsoever, not even requesting to check my identity.

Couple of tips:

-Turn on 2FA on your account.
-Check In on Facebook wherever you go.
-Always have a backup admin on any account so if your payments go down or you get hit with unusual, you can get your account up and running again.
