Landing page tracking with prosper

hello stackers,

I have created landing page with "Landing page on speed tutorial".
ie image as landing page and redirected to affiliate link.

I want to know how to track this page with prosper202

There is option to get landing page code and it has ...

>>>>> Inbound Javascript Landing Page Code

>>>>> Option 1: Landing Page: Outbound PHP Redirect Code
>>>>> Option 2: Landing Page: Outbound Javascript Redirect Code

I am confused about which code to place where?

Regards

If you do PPV go for the JS option

Follow the tutorials here:

I was wondering the same thing. Where do you get your outbound affiliate link from? This is all I'm presented with in step #6

go to setup->get links and enter in all the info and you will get your link that runs to the landing page.

I folllowed these steps.. (not sure are corrct!)

1. created landing page with "Landing page tutorial" and entered affiliate link (not prosper link) as destination link. Page working fine.
2. set up campaing in prosper. entered (step4) simple landing page url as www.domain.com/xxxxx
3. now got floowing code from (step6)Get LP code...

>>>>> Inbound Javascript Landing Page Code
>>>>> Option 1: Landing Page: Outbound PHP Redirect Code
>>>>> Option 2: Landing Page: Outbound Javascript Redirect Code

Now having doubts are....

1. which link is to put where? on which page? (index or config page)
2. LP already get redirected to offer page then do it need to put Redirect Code again
3. where to put #7 Get Links (is it really needed?)

you need to create a .php file, and copy that code you get in there (the php) code. and name it something like a.php , then you go into to your index.php file and every instance you have were the user clicks to go to your link, href, you need to name the link a.php , the Inbound Javascript Landing Page Code needs to be pasted above <body> tag at the bottom. then upload the files to your server. Basically when somebody clicks on your lander the inbound java code records that click, then when somebody clicks on your a.php (going to the offer) it records that as the click thru hence calculating your click thru rate.

sorry if some parts of this do not make sense, i typed it up real fast.

oh ya and the #7 get links is important, if you dont use that link for your lander it wont track properly

here is one post from warrior forum which i found useful...

Hi Walker

Two different ways to do it with Lead Impact. You can either "enable keyword passthrough" on each campaign (on the Lead Impact dashboard), or add the token %KEYWORD% to your Prosper202 URL. So using your example above it would look like:

Quote:
http://redirect.tracking202.com/dl/2...02kw=%KEYWORD%
I've used both but have most success with the 2nd method. Don't ask me why but sometimes the 1st method doesn't send through the keywords.

Cheers
