Help "Deceptive site ahead" notification on antivirus landers

Hey, so I've been running some mobile pop campaigns and some of my domains got the red page with the "deceptive site ahead" notification from google. The domains that got hit by this have antivirus content on them, sweeps landers are fine. So my question is, how can you secure your domains from this? Having SSL was something that came to mind. But maybe some of you more experienced guys have some better ideas.

When running Pop campaigns domains tend to get flagged quite often, especially when using cheap tlds like .offer .life .club etc...
In such cases, checking your domains if they are flagged or not while having a few ones as backup for replacement will help you avoid budget waste on your campaigns.

I understand that and having domains isn't a problem, the thing is they get flagged very fast. I had two domains flagged after 1 day of using them. That basically means I need a new domain for every new campaign. I at least want a bit more longevity.

Basically domains tend to get flagged quite faster on some geos compared to some others, so there are no rules on this... Try using different domains on different geos or for different offers that way you can narrow down where the problem is coming from. One thing to keep present is the offer itself, as it may occur that the offer you are pushing might be helping the domain to get flagged faster.

I've run antivirus offers amongst other types, and have, to date, not had a single lander domain banned.

I'm not 100% sure what the reason is, but my guess would be that it's because I've been hosting my landers on the same IP as an authority site I have from my SEO days. BEWARE though that doing so may damage the rankings of your authority site.

If you don't have authority sites, or don't want to risk damaging your rankings/authority, perhaps try to register expired domains that have some authority and use them as lander domains. Expireddomains.net for example has plenty of those. I'm just speculating here, but feel free to test it out for cheap, just to see whether domains with some authority will last longer than new domains.

If I had the time, I would register a bunch of expired domains with various authority and test them to see whether higher-authority domains will last longer, and by how much. A project for the future maybe.
