FB pixel clarity please (3)

FB pixel clarity please

I'm running a whitehat FB campaign to a pre-lander (self hosted), to cake platform affiliate offer.

When I run with my tracker (Adsbridge), I need to place my FB pixel directly into the "Testing & Tracking" tab of the cake platform. (The Adsbridge people said there was another way, but FB wouldn't get the conversion data routed to the proper campaign.)

So, my question: Is there a better way of doing this besides putting my pixel into the cake platform? I've read from one of @hlyghst posts that this is a no no, as it will increase the risk of getting your account banned.

If you are running white hat on FB, you can certainly consider putting the pixel on the Cake platform and getting rid of your tracker altogether.

It increases the risk of getting it banned, but if you are indeed white hat, that is not reason alone to ban you. Still, you have to trust your network to be white hat, otherwise tracking domains will get flagged and your account likely suspended, if not banned forever.

Thanks @manu_adefy! Yes, as you say I'll have to trust the network first.
