Facebook Getting Started in late 2017

Hi everyone,

Is there a step-by-step guide on STM for some one like myself getting started on Facebook (cloaking, account set up, etc.)? I've read some of Zeno's "Entry Level Guide to FB" but this was written in 2014, so i'm not sure if all the practices can still apply to Facebook as of late 2017.

Thanks

Hey,
Zeno's Entry Level Guide to FB is still relevant in some ways, and it's important you read it even tho it old.
Cloaking and accounts setup is a TOTALLY different game that you SHOULDN'T get into if you're are a newbie.
Learn the basics first, learn how to run on Facebook, learn the system, learn how to find offers and split test, I highly suggest you to focus on whitehat.

Best Regards,
Mation

Thanks Mation,

Do you have any suggestions regarding accounts set-up or know of a thread regarding proper accounts set-up? Whether it would be personal or a separate?

thanks

Is bait and switch a safe(ish) method to use if not cloaking? So direct to a completely whitehat article and once approved change the flow in Voluum to a grey lander and offer? Just to prevent the risk of FB banning your ad for not much reason.

I can't speak for FB personally, but in my experience bait-and-switch is generally a pretty bad method... its just way too easy to see right through. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but IMO, either run it legit or just cloak proper -- why half-ass it when your accounts are on the line??

Bait and switch will have the exact same risks as cloaking but much much smaller upside since your account won't last.

I would suggest starting whitehat. If you really want to cloak, at least do it properly or don't do at all.

If you're planning to go white-hat, the best approach at this point is to create a business account, then create a few ad accounts on that. You don't want to create loads, but you also don't just want to have one available - mistakes do happen and not being able to advertise sucks.

With a new Business Account, should i create the account with a different name, last name, address, birthday and new email? Because I'm sure no one wants to connect personal with business. Will this conflict with credit cards, does the credit card have to match my address, etc? I just want to make it right the first time so i don't get my account disabled. I know that i have to turn off my VPS. If you have any tips for starting new account, we would appreciate it!

Thanks
