Traffic Junky and Voluum Impression cost tracking possible?

Hi everyone,

A question regarding how to track each ad impression costs on Voluum with respect to Traffic Junky as my traffic source, is it possible? if so, how do i set that up on Voluum?

Thanks

Hi,
I havn't a answer, but the same question
I'm also using TRafficjunky as my main Trafficsource and its a pain to always calculate the ROI for each banner, would be nice if it where possible via Voluum or other trackers.

Hi! Unfortunately from our experience we can say it's impossible, but it never hurts to actually speak with Traffic Junky support, maybe they are planning this feature.

It's possible to see ROI if you can see costs :/ So not sure if you can do so

It's not possible as long as I know, for it to work, you would have to place impression tracking pixel into TJ backend and I don't think they support this. Voluum is capable of handling it, and looks like they don't even count these impressions as events ... not sure since when, as I thought it was a billed function.

Your best bet with these sources is to figure out what your average CPC is and use that value in Voluum. TJ usually shows almost the same numbers as voluum records, there is almost no clickloss, so it's pretty ok. You're right about the need to go over stats banner by banner at some times, since all of them have different CTRs, thus also different CPC values ... but that's a hassle you need to learn with.
