Multiple Stripe accounts for Dropshipping

Hi guys,

I have a question. I'm doing right now around $15k per day in dropshipping with Stripe, however I made mistake at the beginning and put myself in wrong Merchant category and added completely wrong information in Statement Descriptor so in last weeks I'm receiving waves of fraud chargebacks (basically every sale created some alert in customer bank). I'm holding everything under 0.62% chargeback rate right now however any other wave can cripple that Stripe account and put me in position of pain and possibly they could take money for couple months which would be not cool.

I know lot of people here is doing Dropshipping in bigger scale and probably also had problem like this. I was thinking about creating more shops and for each shop specific LLC. However in every Stripe registration they want to get some personal information about owner or person who created that Stripe account. If your previous Stripe account got flagged, do you give them different information or let some other person create that account, do that person need to be somehow connected to that LLC, or will they connect you with previous accounts if you will just give them again same personal details like with previous Stripe account?

Anybody have any experience with this?

Thank you for any answer.

Getting dropped from stripe is a very big deal, your personal details and company details are added to the Terminated Merchant File (TMF) or MATCH list. Essentially it’s an industry wide shitlist.

When a merchant is placed on the MATCH list, the business name, principal, and any business partners are all recorded on file and basically blackballed (for the most part) from opening any new merchant accounts elsewhere. Once on the MATCH, it is extremely difficult to obtain a new merchant account by any other bank.

You could get someone you trust to open an account in their name and continue trading, however it’s definitely not ideal as the cash will get withdrawn to their bank account etc
