Hey guys,
Can you please critique my fb page?
http://www.facebook.com/SEHabitat
I think my design is alright, but I have no idea how to do the like-dependent functions, even after checking threads on StackOverflow on that topic.
Does my page work how you expect? Is there anything wrong with it?
I'm working on styling the optin form too.
looks good.
i would:
1) add a video walkthough in addition to the grumo one
2) use your images in the header on your wall to promote your product. Look at Ryan Deiss' page: http://www.facebook.com/ryandeiss?sk=wall for an example
3) Use a page tab that A) gives value (ie video walk through casetstudy of one of your sites), then B) asks for like,C) optin, D) reward (follow up video with the domain revealed, or financial stats revealed, or kw rank / kw strategy revealed), E) recommend to a friend
Also suggest you stop the double posting between your personal profile and your page
Hope it goes well for you!
How many customers have you signed up?
tijn, thanks so much for your suggestions. I think I can implement nearly all of them. For #3, did you mean replace the default page tab with one that gives extra value instead?
Signups aren't open yet, actually - we're working on final development of the charting solution in the app, to make it way more sexy. haha! I launched the facebook page a week ago, and the opt-in only 3 days ago, with a tiny normal html submit button... Just added the big yellow button tonight. I have 10 people on the waiting list to signup when it's ready. It makes me feel great
Nice one.
And yes I would replace the page tab with something that pulls in more optins.
But only when your live and youve had a chance to check the performance of your current one.
Ie - if its bringing in 10 people in 3 days and all those buy, there wont be any need to change
Heres an example of what I am talking about:

1) they give value first
2) like to read the next part
3) optin so they can send it to you
Your FB Page is looking great man and I just added a "like" to your FB page.
