Ridiculous CTR on a placement?



On a campaign I started testing today, something weird happened, I got over 13k clicks out of 15 impressions from a placement.

Does this mean some bot went berserking?

What kind of traffic is that, pops?

If this is happening only from that placement I would immediately block/kill it as its just eating up your Voluum events = eating your money.

Should be a a BOT for sure, block the IP/placement. As Erik mentioned, you're just wasting Voluum events on it.

There can also be a problem with your LP, some script might end up in an endless loop ... but if it's just one placement, it's some bot for sure.

Wow, that bot must have been thirsty!

Besides that, keeping a close eye on device OS Versions might be a good practice to avoid some other fake clicks on your landers that will screw your optimization process.
