When buying mobile traffic, naturally not all your hits are going to come 100% from the correct geo setting. So what is an acceptable percentage of incorrect geo traffic for you?
Is it 5%? 10%? etc?
On a side note I think my tracker (Imobitrax) is incorrectly redirecting away good traffic by incorrectly identifying the geo. I say this because I redirect non-geo traffic to a smart-link, but when I review my smart-link stats it seems a large percentage of traffic comes from the geo I originally intended to target (good geo).
Also often when running on TJ or Exoclick my tracker is redirecting 10-20% of the traffic, which I believe is likely incorrect. I mean it could be the traffic source, but who knows lol.
Also when looking at my stats, say if Im running in a country like Germany, I doubt that a large percentage of people say from "Canada" would go through a German LP to get to the offer?
So Im thinking I may just remove the geo-redirection in my tracker since these smart-links bring in negligible revenue anyway.
Any advice is appreciated
The difference on solid networks like TJ or EXO are actually very minimal, here is a screen from one of my TJ campaigns :

first line is the GEO I target, the others are not ... as you can see the difference is VERY small.
I didn't use imobitrax for a few years, not sure what kind of GEO DB they are using and how accurate it is, but 20% is WAY to high ... unless they have some kind of BOT detection built in, that redirects bots away... would that be possible?
Wow I think maybe there is something wrong with my tracker. From your screenshot you're not even getting 1% incorrect geo.
Maybe i have to switch back to
Thanks for the insight
in my recent UK camapigns I see a geo missout of 2% that goes to the wrong GEO
I've asked to define a different LP for the non UK traffic
i'm using imobitrax for another offer I own but I do not like them at all, and I would def check Volumm(currently using
