My first campaigns - Mobile pops - Vortex Guide (amy) !

Hello everyone ,

After a lot of questions and a headache that I did to the forum members here, I decided to jump into the pool and start swimming.
Go step by step after what the members teach here to newbie - As in the vortex guide .
And not look for the "safe thing" - Because it does not exist - and even if I get something like that - His time would end sometime .

So without talking things are not relevant - I want to start with my questions please :

1.Why do not I see a cost for clicks ?

I think my settings for the postback to traffic source - incomplete : (nothing show up on eror log in Voluum ) .

URL POSTBACK ON Voluum : http://ad.propellerads.com/conversio...id=&tid=31565&visitor_id={externalid}

Is the visitor_id of the propellerads equal to the externalid on the voluum ?

2. Let's say my payment per conversion is: 0.50 $ - equivalent of 5 times the offer payout = 2.5 $ cost = And there is no conversion - stop the campaign and replace offer?

qoute from votex guide :

"If the offer you're testing does not convert at least once after spending the equivalent of 5 times the offer payout, ditch it, and start testing another offer until you find one that DOES convert at least once. "

3. can i choose the option "standard " on the ad delivery method on propellerads.com (traffic source ) And not spend my $ 10 for a whole day? Or it is not recommended for beginners ?

qoute vortex guide :

"For example, when you're wanting to quickly test an offer to get a rough idea on whether it would convert, then this may be a good option."

EDIT : Please do not relate to the attached picture - mistakenly attached.

THANK YOU ALL

Congrats on taking action and get yourself started! Let's get into your questions on by one.

1.Why do not I see a cost for clicks ?
You cannot track approximate on PropellerAds through your tracker (Voluum). They don't have a bid or cost per impression tracking token so the best you can do to set an average CPM on the campaign level then update costs the next day.
http://prntscr.com/h44lwz

2. Let's say my payment per conversion is: 0.50 $ - equivalent of 5 times the offer payout = 2.5 $ cost = And there is no conversion - stop the campaign and replace offer?
What is the traffic flow of your campaign? Are you sending your visitors directly to the offer through your campaign link or you're using a landing page before the offer? What about the traffic distribution on zone ids?

3. can i choose the option "standard " on the ad delivery method on propellerads.com (traffic source ) And not spend my $ 10 for a whole day? Or it is not recommended for beginners ?
Propeller has a huge amount of traffic that will either ways fulfill your camps budget. If you use Standard you'll collect data and optimize faster than when using Distributed.

Give us a few more details on your campaign, maybe by adding some screenshots, so that it can be easier for us to help you out.

thank you very much for your time ,

1. After testing with the support of propellerads I got the answer you said - that they have no option to track CPC in postback but only conversions , My cost is equal to the bid i put : 2.33 $ per CPM .

2. "What is the traffic flow of your campaign? Are you sending your visitors directly to the offer through your campaign link or you're using a landing page before the offer?

my traffic its pops for mobile - direct link -

"What about the traffic distribution on zone ids?"

I am sorry for the lack of understanding I know that 'zone id' is where the ads are published and I will begin to make cuts but later on - am I right?

3. This means I can do tests much faster than wait a whole day right ?

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I want to share the screenshot of 3 offers ( direct link ) I made :

id campaign 1005742 - offer payment : 1.22 $ i spent 10.11 $
id campaign 1005736 - offer payment : 0.81 $ i spent 7.26 $
id campaign 1005151 - offer payment : 0.41 $ i spent 11.44 $

If I follow the vortex guide - If the expenditure is five times higher than what I get from the offer and there is no conversion - I have to ditch it .

Does this mean that all 3 offer are not good? Or maybe there's some problem with the link? I just do not know a way to check that the proposal is presented properly

thank you all

I am sorry for the lack of understanding I know that 'zone id' is where the ads are published and I will begin to make cuts but later on - am I right?
When you first configured PropellerAds on your Voluum account you added the tracking tokens used by propeller:
{zoneid} - ID of the ad zone where the ad is displayed
{campaignid} - ID of the campaign
${SUBID} - Unique ID for tracking conversions

To be able to see the traffic distribution by publishers on your campaign, simply go to reports on your campaign and view stats by custom tracking variables, in this case "zoneid". There you can notice if your traffic is distributed equally among different publishers or a few ones have consumed all your test budget. If so it is hard to say that the offer is bad.

Check out Amy's guide on bidding in propeller so that you make sure you haven't placed an extremely low bid.

I have one place that took nearly 922 visitors : And if it was a 1,000 - in a fast calculation he took alone $ 2.33 from the budget

Should I cut it and try again? Or is it not the problem of this offer? my payment from this offer its : 1.22 $
and X5 its 6.1 $ .

this camapign spent me : 10.11 $ total so 10.11 $ - 2.33 $ ( approximately the zone id with 922 visitors ) = 7.78 $

According to Vortex's guide he got his chance I think .

*edit: I checked the bid to see that it was not too low by the guide and it was not low.

what do you think ?

thanks again

According to the offer you are running using a lander is a going to give you way better results than running this type of offer on direct link

Here’s what I would suggest you to do:

Get 3-5 top performing landers in adplexity for the geo your offer is accepting.

https://stmforum.com/forum/showthrea...able-Campaigns

Then clean them out going through Amy’s guide on how to clean ripped landers.
https://stmforum.com/forum/showthrea...Ripped-Landers

Host them on CDN (Amamzon S3):
https://stmforum.com/forum/showthrea...-Cost-Way-Ever!

Buy like 10 new domains (so you’ll have some ready to replace the ones that might get flagged), to serve your landers through.

Once are ready with these, send some traffic and let’s go through the optimization process together.

thank you very much bro for all your help ,

I just want to focus more on direct link offers, as soon as I control it I will go over to the landers offers .

I ran a offer now - that I'm going to finish with 2 conversions she did to me:

this offer pays me only $ 0.52 for a convertion - and I spent 26.66 $ for her - God I need to know how to stop it long before I lose my panties in this game .

Do you think it would be hard to get anything out of it ? It's my first few conversions out of the two- three offers I've tried.

vortex guide said : X5 - max X10 from the offer payout and i need to ditch it right ?

The conversions I received from 2 zone id were wasted :

1 - zone id : spent 0.041 $ and give me converstion (0.52 payout ) .
2 - zone id : spent 0.40 $ and give me (0.52 payout ) .

There was one place that spent $ 4 with the most visitors and zero conversions .

Continue these 2 offers or stop ?? what do you think guys ?!

and please 2 Questions :

Why do conversions start well all the time and it gets worse after a few conversions? Is it related to the source of traffic? propellerads.com ?

Another question is why I sometimes see propellerads.com ads with another conversion or two and it's deleted after a while?

Thanks
