As the title suggests... how do you promote an app install offer on fb.... the whitehat way?
facebook ad > landing page > app install?
Any examples with a landing page of how this can be best done?
I been doing apps for some time now. Not as affiliate, but own apps.
Best is to create app install with direct link to app store. Why? Because it's very cheap compared with normal website click traffic. I know, it sounds impossible, if you run as affiliate. BUT, some advertisers/networks actually allow you to do it(Zodiac/mondial advertiser was happy to do that), they can place your tracking system somewhere or even go as far as reporting with fb sdk. Need to ask from your AM.
When running app installs, go creative with custom video ad, because your presell is basically app store description.
You can also do facebook ad > landing page > app install, but I do not have any data about that, did run small tests, all failed, so I quit. But lots of people use this with cheap traffic sources, so I don't see why it shouln't work when you find something good.
You can use cloaker for affiliate app offers but its very difficult to get approve campaign with cloaker and it take long time if you need landing pages for app install i will send to you pm.
